Last Updated: April 19, 2026

Introduction

Welcome to Senior Python. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of seniorpython.dev and its related services (collectively, the "Services"), operated by Senior Python ("we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access or use our Services.

User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your account. We reserve the right to disable any user account at any time if, in our opinion, you have violated any provision of these Terms.

User Types and Services

For Developers

If you register as a developer, you may create a profile, upload a resume, apply for jobs, and engage with recruiters. You agree that all information provided in your profile and resume is accurate and does not misrepresent your skills, experience, or qualifications.

For Recruiters

If you register as a recruiter, you may post job listings, search for developers, and manage applications. You agree that all job listings posted are for legitimate employment opportunities and contain accurate information about the position, company, and requirements.

Content and Conduct

You retain all rights to the content you submit, post, or display on or through the Services. By submitting, posting, or displaying content on or through the Services, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute such content for the purpose of providing and improving the Services.

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

  • Violating any applicable laws or regulations
  • Impersonating any person or entity
  • Engaging in any harassing, abusive, or harmful conduct
  • Submitting false or misleading information
  • Uploading or transmitting viruses, malware, or other malicious code
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Services or systems
  • Interfering with or disrupting the integrity of the Services
  • Collecting user data without consent
  • Using the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

Intellectual Property

The Services and all content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, and audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof) are owned by Senior Python, its licensors, or other providers and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

These Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in the Services or our content, nor any right to use the Services or content except as expressly set forth in these Terms.

Subscription Plans and Payments

Senior Python offers recurring digital subscription plans for recruiters and developers that unlock additional features on the platform (for example, expanded job posting, developer search, and communication capabilities). Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (typically monthly) in the currency shown at checkout, and will automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until cancelled.

Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay all applicable fees and taxes and you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your selected payment method for all amounts due. You must provide accurate and complete billing information and keep it up to date.

If a payment fails, we may retry the charge, downgrade your account to a free or default plan, or suspend access to paid features until payment is received.

Refund and Dispute Policy

Senior Python sells digital subscription services that are delivered immediately upon purchase. Because access to paid features is granted at the start of each billing period, subscription fees are generally non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law or is explicitly offered by us in writing.

If you believe you were charged in error, were charged after cancelling, did not receive the service you paid for, or have any other billing concern, please contact us through our contact form before initiating a dispute or chargeback with your bank or card issuer. We will review each request in good faith and aim to respond within 1-2 business days. Where a refund is granted, it will typically be issued to the original payment method within 5-10 business days, subject to your payment provider's processing times.

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute, we may suspend the associated account while the dispute is under review and may provide our payment processor and your card network with information and records related to your account, the transaction, and your use of the Services as permitted by applicable card network rules and law.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel a paid subscription at any time from your account's subscription page or by contacting us. When you cancel, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period, and your account will then be downgraded to the free or default plan. You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods after a successful cancellation.

Cancellation stops future renewals but does not, by itself, entitle you to a refund of fees already paid for the current billing period. See the Refund and Dispute Policy above for how to request a refund in specific circumstances.

You may also delete your account from your account settings. Deleting your account will cancel any active subscription and remove your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Returns and Physical Goods

Senior Python provides digital subscription services only. We do not sell, ship, or deliver any physical goods, so returns of merchandise are not applicable. For billing concerns related to our digital services, please refer to the Refund and Dispute Policy above.

Promotions, Trials, and Discounts

From time to time we may offer promotional pricing, free trials, or discount codes. Any such offer is subject to the specific terms disclosed at the time of the offer, including eligibility requirements, duration, and the price that will apply when the promotion ends. Unless stated otherwise: promotions cannot be combined, are limited to one per customer, have no cash value, and may be modified or withdrawn at any time.

If a free trial is offered, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before the trial ends. You can cancel at any time during the trial from your subscription page.

Export and Legal Restrictions

You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations of your jurisdiction when accessing or using the Services. You may not access or use the Services if you are located in a country or region, or are an individual or entity, that is subject to sanctions or export restrictions that would prohibit your use of the Services.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Services will cease immediately. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Services or delete your account through the settings page.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.

Senior Python does not warrant that: (a) the Services will function uninterrupted, secure, or available at any particular time or location; (b) any errors or defects will be corrected; (c) the Services are free of viruses or other harmful components; or (d) the results of using the Services will meet your requirements.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Senior Python, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from: (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Services; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Services; (c) any content obtained from the Services; and (d) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Services after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Services.
